Tracy Goodale
My love of photography began
in 1969, commensurate with my world tour with the United States Navy.
First assigned to Midway Island then Norfolk, Virginia, my jumping
off point for a one-year tour in Viet Nam's Gulf of Tonkin was Port
Chicago, California.Four oceans and seventeen countries later, I returned
to my home in Colorado with thousands of archived images. Photographic
opportunities in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, Jamaica,
Cayman Islands, the Yucatan Peninsula, Virgin Islands, and the Bahamas
offered unique opportunities for travel photography. I've won several
photography exhibitions since 1983 and have exhibited work in the
Air Force Academy's Permanent Professors Art Gallery, the Colorado
Springs Fine Art Center, Colorado Springs Pioneer's Museum, and have
been published in local, regional, and national publications.
Best known for my digital composites, I take film and digital stills
into the fantasy world of digital image manipulation. I produce surreal
images dissolving and blending hidden subjects within unique backgrounds
to ply unusual inter-play between visible layers. The computer provides
a unique tool to blend the real with the imagined.
I provide a unique service in image manipulation, personalized composite
construction, and also provide professional and reasonably priced
photo restoration and re-construction services.
